Bend has an amazing community of healers and nurturers. Your Motherhood Transition will involve a birth team to provide you with the tools to support your health and the health of your baby. This may include a midwife, OB, doula, postpartum doula, chiropractor, nutritionist, physical therapist, massage therapist, craniosacral therapist, labor & delivery nurse, pediatrician, fitness trainers, yoga trainers, lactation consultants, and acupuncturists. crista jones-Jordan, fitness trainer & birthfit coach
Crista has a B.S. in Movement and Sports Science from the University of La Verne. She is currently studying for her CSCS and also is a dotFIT certified fitness professional. She is incredibly passionate about fitness and nutrition and grew up around sports and recreation her whole life. She is a mother to a three year old daughter and is currently expecting baby #2 in November! Her recent experience of an ectopic pregnancy has made her even more passionate about being a leader in the BIRTHFIT movement and providing better resources to mothers in our community. Crista wants to train every pregnant and postpartum woman in Central Oregon to help them tap into their own incredible strength and magic.

Dr. Emily of Plasker Chiropractic in Bend has a passion for working with pregnant women and is certified in the Webster Technique. She believes when pregnant women are informed about their body's innate abilities to give birth they can be empowered and are able to be an advocate for themselves and their baby from conception through the entire birth process. She loves working with kids starting from their first breath of life- making sure that their spine and nervous system are free of injury from the pregnancy and birth process.
